Soon after the United States Air Force Academy was formed, the Air Force mandated that to support troop morale, recruiting, and community relations, a musical ensemble would be created to refl ect the Academy’s peerless standards. Today, that ensemble, the USAF Academy Band, sustains its mandate on a national and international scale as it represents the Academy and the Air Force Space Command through public concerts.
